I am an italian citizen who lives in Italy. I'm starting a job for which I'll be paid in dollars, but I'll still work from my home in Italy (I'm a freelance journalist). Can I open a bank account in the US in order to deposit there my earnings from Italy, or it is needed for me to be physically present at the moment of the opening of the bank account?
