If money is taken out of my bank account would I be notified?

Like say my son took money out of his bank account would the bank tell me when and how much?
If money is taken out of my bank account would I be notified?
No, you won't be notified.
Reply:If your son is a minor and you are on his account, you can check his account via online banking if your bank offers it. Otherwise you won't have any notifications on the account activity - unless your bank offers some special program.
Reply:not if he is on the account. If he isn't, then unless he is using a debit card of yours, then there isn't much a way to tell except to find out where the money was pulled out and review video of that time.
Reply:1) Yes, it's called a 'Monthly Statement'

2) No, however the Bank will send your son his own Monthly Statement, which you could insist he shows you.
Reply:No. You should know yourself when you take money out of your own account.

Why would they tell you when your son took money out of HIS account? That's what monthly bank statements are for; you can use them to reconcile
Reply:Well they'll give him a little paper saying how much money he has left in the bank, but they won't notify the persons parent on how much money they take out.
Reply:You can usually sign up for online banking which will show you each withdrawal or purchase.

What happens to our questions, answers and Yahoo account after we die?

Can this be considered property and passed on to our children and grandchildren? Or does it all belong to someone else already?
What happens to our questions, answers and Yahoo account after we die?
What a strange question! Is yahoo that important to you? Glad I'm not in your family!
Reply:They live on into eternity. One day you will be regognized and your Blog will be all over CNN......Until then, THIS IS PAUL HARVEY....GOOD DAY!
Reply:Well, if they know the passwords, you could keep it going for a long time (Personally, I give this site another two yearsbefore it folds up shop like Google Answers did)
Reply:While I don't know the actual answer to your question (and really, I can't stand people who just chime in to say "I don't know"), I do want you to know that you just sent a chill down my spine at the prospect that one day, we're going to hear about a civil lawsuit regarding ownership of a deceased person's blog, Facebook account, or, heaven helps us all, Yahoo! Answers account. And I thought the McDonald's hot coffee lawsuit was stupid.

Is it safe to give a stranger your account number?

I sold something on ebay and they need it asap, for some reason they cant do paypal. Is it safe to give them my name and account number so they can pay the money in?
Is it safe to give a stranger your account number?
eBay tells you to NEVER NEVER NEVER give out any account information!!!!!!!!! It's a scam. If they can't do paypal, they can't safely buy your product. Never give anyone any of your information. Since I believe you may have done this before. For your security, go and change all your online passwords, just in case. All your emails and bank, everything! Not doing so may set you up for identity theft. believe me I see it way to often.
Reply:no
Reply:no have them send you the money Western Union
Reply:MAYBE... ur acount number n sort code should be fine but u know ebay is full of a bunch of twats that do froude, so be carefull be warned, btw waa is it that ur sellin usless its a hart then im sure they can wait!
Reply:no! dont give your information to anyone! i have had alot of problems with that! once someone messes with it, its really hard and time consuming to get it right again. i just wouldnt do it...have them just send you a check or something! for real its not safe to give out that info.:)
Reply:no dont do it. if they need it that urgent get them to send cash or postal order by recorded delivery
Reply:No, if they cannot pay using Pay pal or Visa via E-bay the safest options are Cash if they can collect item, cheque (wait 'till cleared to send the item) or postal order. There are genuine people out there but how can you tell, I would not take the risk.
Reply:nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo !!!!!!
Reply:It should be ok - they won;t know anyother details needed to access the account, but I'd keep an eye on your account for a while afterwards, just in case
Reply:NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Never this is a common scam on eBay, have them send a cheque or money order and waite for it to clear before you send the item..

I don't do paypal but I would not expect anyone to give me their details, and am happy to waite for cheques to clear if I really want something
Reply:NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

NEVER
Reply:No, not good, never.
Reply:Um, no? Is it safe to give out your bank account information so people can put money in? NO! Cmon think a little.
Reply:Never gvie out your bank details online.
Reply:No not really! Get them to send you a cheque or a postal order!
Reply:NO. although you may think that it is JUST your name and account #, you don't know how clever theives are. you may not be able to do anything with it, but they sure can.
Reply:I wouldn't give out my account number, just to be safe. I would have them pay with a cashiers check or money order.
Reply:In a word, NO. Be suspicious of anyone who asks. They should not, or need not know taht information. Its a scam.
Reply:No, I wouldnt do this. You could ask for a cheque or postal order, a postal order wouldnt need to clear you can cash it straight away.

I wouldn't give details like that to a stranger.

How and where can i open a bank account in philippino peso currency.?
You did not indicate where you are and where you want to open an account

If you are in the Philippines, all banks offer savings, checking and other types of accounts in Philippine pesos.

But if you are in the US, try the offshore branches of Philippine banks. Metrobank http://www.metrobankny.com/index.html and Philippine National Bank http://www.pnb.com.ph/brsperareaoverseas... have branches in New York, Los Angeles and Honolulu

What is better a CD Account or a Money Market account?

Right now Citi Bank has a really good CD 6 months 5.0%apy or should i do a money Market which i dont know too much about?
What is better a CD Account or a Money Market account?
Compare the interest rates between them. Money markets invests in debt securities (such as government bonds) and may sometime perform better than a CD account.

I don't particularly like CDs because you have to hold the money in there for a period of time before you can take it out. Money markets are easily liquidable.
Reply:CD is a better deal if interest rates are going down, because they lock in the rate. But you can't access your money during the term. The good news is it's FDIC insured.

Money Market is better if interest rates are going up, because they change interest rate every week. They are not FDIC insured.

Personally, I prefer Money Markets.
Reply:Money Market account
Reply:A money market is just like a savings account but with a higher interest rate. You can take money out but are limited in the number of times you do this. I would say a money market is best, you can open on up online, at HSBC or even i think citi bank and get a 5%. There are a few out there that even have higher. Look in your local paper or check online at bankrate.com, to find the best rate.
