Is it possible to open a checking account if a bank has had you in chexsystems for two years?

I really need advice, I accepted a job that pays by direct deposit and most savings accounts require a minimum of $50.00 to open which I don't have at this time.

Most banks do require a deposit for a savings and a checking account

US bank will open a second chance checking account for some people but requires a deposit.

Key bank has a special account that you can use. It is an atm card only account. (It won't have a MasterCard or Visa symbol on it). You can use it merchants that take atm cards (Star, Maestro, Etc) There is no pin purchase fee. The fee is a percentage of what each deposit is and they prefer direct deposit. I don't know if they require an opening deposit. You can ask them.
