If money is taken out of my bank account would I be notified?

Like say my son took money out of his bank account would the bank tell me when and how much?
If money is taken out of my bank account would I be notified?
No, you won't be notified.
Reply:If your son is a minor and you are on his account, you can check his account via online banking if your bank offers it. Otherwise you won't have any notifications on the account activity - unless your bank offers some special program.
Reply:not if he is on the account. If he isn't, then unless he is using a debit card of yours, then there isn't much a way to tell except to find out where the money was pulled out and review video of that time.
Reply:1) Yes, it's called a 'Monthly Statement'

2) No, however the Bank will send your son his own Monthly Statement, which you could insist he shows you.
Reply:No. You should know yourself when you take money out of your own account.

Why would they tell you when your son took money out of HIS account? That's what monthly bank statements are for; you can use them to reconcile
Reply:Well they'll give him a little paper saying how much money he has left in the bank, but they won't notify the persons parent on how much money they take out.
Reply:You can usually sign up for online banking which will show you each withdrawal or purchase.
