Would my bank let me cash a large check if there is little money in the account?

I beleive you can ,you are most likely to have to leave a portion in the account for several days until it clears. It also depends on where the check is from or if it is a personal check.

Yes they will but they will wait until it clears. That's your answer. They wont give you a loan on that check until it clears so why try for a loan. Just wait your two to three days.
Reply:Depends on the banks policy. If its drawn on a bank other than yours, only a percentage may be kept, and the rest deposited until funds clear.


But if its YOUR account with little money, no....
