How can I close out my yahoo answers account since every thing I answer anymore gets deleted by yahoo?

I am tired of not being able to have an opinion on this site.


No I never used foul language, swore, no racial slurs, or slang terms, just simply voicing my opinion to answers. Yahoo sucks and I Am done! They will probably delete this too. Just shows you how this site is run and who it is run by.
How can I close out my yahoo answers account since every thing I answer anymore gets deleted by yahoo?

Rest assured you are allowed to share your opinion, your own humble opinion, but your opinion "must" attempt to answer the question being asked. and this is because Yahoo! Answers is a question and answer Community of people sharing their knowledge, and it also has a question and answer format. Please see link #1 to learn more about the Q/A Format:

Conversely, you don't need to use expletives or objectionable words in order to violate the question and answer format. Just by failing to answer the question being asked risk the deletion of your answer.

Unfortunately, you are "not" allowed to counteract an answer in your answer. Remember what the question and answer format says? That is right --- your answer must answer the question being asked, not to approach the answers received.





Yahoo! Answers is a very, very entertaining knowledge-sharing Community, but it does have a core set of rules to abide by. Please know these rules are highly recommended to have a healthy knowledge-sharing Community.

Reply:Only the YA team can DELETE your account. Closing your EMAIL ID deactivates the YA account, but you also lose everything attached to that email account. After 4 months, the YA profile WILL disappear. But ALL Q%26amp;A from that profile are still visible %26amp; searchable on site. IN VOTING or RESOLVED Q%26amp;A remain the property of Yahoo.





Blank out your avatar, nickname and 'About Me'.


Close links to 360, IM or email.


Delete open questions and answers.


Disallow fans. Remove contacts.


Set Network and Q%26amp;A to private.


Then just leave.

i'm not entirely sure how you delete. I think its in your settings....
