I am having a world of problems with Paypal at the moment, so I want to set up a new Ebay account and continue buying and selling as normal, but without using Paypal.
Is it possible to sell things on Ebay without wretched Paypal? I know it used to be possible but my friend said he tried to list a laptop on Ebay recently but couldn't as he didn't have a Paypal account.
Is it absolutely essential to have a Paypal account to sell on Ebay?
I don't think you can sell on Ebay without a Paypal account these days. Personally I'd rather have unnecessary surgery than deal with the officious, brainless imbeciles at Paypal. A more mismanaged and inept organisation you are unlikely to encounter. And Ebay are precious little better. Take a tip from me and find an alternative place to sell your wares. Anything is better than the woeful incompetence and unparalleled disdain for customers that are so perfectly embodied by Ebay and Paypal.
Reply:You don't need Paypal to buy on ebay, but you do to sell, since you pay your ebay fees by Paypal. Also you'll get a much lower sale price for your items if you dont have paypal seeing as that's how most people pay and they don't want to mess around with cheques or whatever else.
Reply:Yes, cheque can be sent or postal orders. However most folk will avoid your items as they don't have any guarantee unless they pay via credit card.
Reply:if you open a new account you would be a new seller %26amp; as such ebay will demand you have a paypal account for your first sale.
Reply:love ebay love paypal
you can't sell some things with out it now like laptops console
get you r pay pal sorted , i never buy any thing with out it ,
i buy for 拢2000 a month and sell for 拢3000 a month and only use pay pal , i also get riped off for about 拢300 a month to , but with pay pal i always get my money back
Reply:If that is the company that E-bay use then yes it is.
