Recently, my desktop crashed (via Blue Screen of Death) and now i am forced to reformat my hard drive. i was able to use my hard drive as a slave to another computer, but wasn't able to access files on the administrator's account because of the password. is there anyway i can retrieve the files on the administrator's account?

if you go to best buy you can get them to access crashed files
Reply:boot from the XP cd and try recovery console.
sometimes you can do a repair install and regain access.
