Can you patient a new type of financial account?

It does not exist except in my head, I think it would be a benefit to participants, the banks and governments, but I don't have much money or knowledge in patient law, just the idea, any suggestions?

What exactly are trying to accomplish? If you are planning to come up with a written document that would be beneficial to all the parties you state, then you do not have to patent it, you just have to properly identify and protect it as your "Intellectual Property."
Reply:As a writer, "Intecectual Property" is anything that you personally write. As an artist who paints portraits, for example, "Intecectual Property" is anything that you paint. In other words, it is your property. Problems arise when other people try to copy your work and say it is theirs. Report Abuse

Reply:No offense, but I would be very surprised if you had come up with something that has not already been thought of by the many brilliant minds trying to devise new derivatives, depository accounts, money market instruments, etc.
